Refugee Resettlement: Taking a leap of Faith

Refugees are seeking resettlement as an opportunity for their future life to overcome their will, such as education, security, employment and identify themselves as legal status. Refugees are getting frustrate and become particularly fragile living in the refugee camp. The refugees are making the decision to sacrifice their homeland, their relatives, and their friends and decide to resettle to the third country. “To start a new life where everything is different from to the life that you used to is very tough.”

What does the referendum really mean to the people in Burma?

The military regime creates the intimidation atmosphere during the period of referendum and forces the people of Burma to give vote “YES” to them. Some people still give “NO” vote to express their will but some people give “YES” vote which against their will. Even thought, the military regime prevail in this election their constitution is full of cheating and stealing votes from the people.
