Funding
The Peace Way Foundation is committed to continuing a long-term process of building up and supporting the grassroots movement for justice and true peace in Burma. Therefore it is necessary to implement a plan to maintain the Peace Way Foundations' work into the future. Efforts have been made to prepare and train local staff to take more responsibility and major leadership roles of the organisation.
All unspent monies from a financial year are subtracted from the new term so there will be no accumulation of unspent money. In the event that there are some unspent funds at the end of a financial year that the Peace Way Foundation would like to use for a special cause, funding partners will be contacted and their approval sought first.
The Peace Way Foundation prepares two activity reports each year: the Annual and Mid-Year Reports. An official financial audit report is included with the Annual Report and all of these reports are available to funding partners. These reports also trace the development of each project.
